After new-mom Katie Houghton and daughter Madison took their first trip together, Katie experienced the hassle of transporting big, heavy equipment like strollers and car seats, and the frustrations of doing without some essentials too.

Once at home, Katie and her mother, Joan McMullin, decided to open their own business so that visitors to Halifax wouldn’t have to experience the same discomfort of travelling with extra baggage. In the spring of 2007, Tiny Travellers was born, and so began a new chapter for this mother-daughter — and grand-daughter — team!

We are proud to be the only full-service baby equipment rental business serving families, guests and visitors here in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and surrounding communities.
